Oriented strand board (OSB), also known as flakeboard, sterling board and aspenite in British English, is a type of engineered lumber similar to particle board, formed by adding adhesives and then compressing layers of wood strands (flakes) in specific orientations. 
OSB Panels contribute on the low cost of our houses due to its light weight and the fact that it already comes with bracing, making other ways of bracing dispensable and leaving the structure more simple and economic.
